Complaints

At Granville Plus Nursery School we are committed to providing a high-quality service in all aspects of our work. However, we understand that sometimes things may not go as expected.

Please do not hold back any worries or concerns you may have – whether they are small, medium or large. It is always better to raise these openly so that they can be resolved quickly and fairly.

For more complex issues that cannot be resolved straight away, it may be appropriate to make an appointment. Staff, including the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher, will always do their best to see you as soon as possible.

Complaints Procedure

If you have a concern, please follow the steps below:

  1. Keyworker – Raise the matter first with your child’s keyworker.
  2. Leadership team – If the issue remains unresolved, you should then raise it with the Deputy Headteacher. If you still have concerns after this, you should ask to speak to the Headteacher.
  3. Governing Body – If you feel the matter has not been adequately addressed, you may take your complaint to the Governing Body.
  4. Department for Education – Finally, if you remain dissatisfied, you may take your complaint to the Department for Education.
