Getting Involved in your child's learning

Tell a Tale Time (on a day to suit you!)

We love having parents in to share their time with the children in short activities: cooking with the children, reading or telling a story or singing songs in your home language, expands the children's learning, and celebrates our diversity. We don't need you to be an expert, and we support you in making the event as positive as possible.

Treat it as an invitation, not an obligation!

Lending Library

We have books for you to borrow with your child. Each child has a book bag which we loan you for the year. We hope you will read your child's story choices with your child, and record their responses. Your keyworker will tell which day every week to change the books.

We welcome your help in running this. 

Exhibition

Every year we aim to run an Summer Exhibition, with various displays to share your child’s achievements.  We try to cover all areas of our work with the children and all curriculum areas.

Planning the Curriculum 

We aim to involve all parents very directly in the way we plan for your individual child.
